Jamie & Amelia ‘s midwest sunset engagement session was a true dream session. A couple who met in high school and are getting ready to walk down the aisle next summer. Meeting them a few months ago they were so relaxed and natural together. Amelia and Jamie are so down to earth and immdiately make you feel like you have been friends for ages.
Amelia emailed me a few weeks ago and told me that they had a great location in mind, that they wanted to include their pup, Roxy to the session and also one of Jamie’s trucks. All of those requests are not out of the ordinary. I arrived at a remote farm in Edgerton on a beautiful but HOT night. The landscape was stunning and the sun was on our side.
They told me they had already parked the truck back in a field and that we had to walk a path to get to it. We started to walk and then all of the sudden I saw Jamie’s truck or as he calls it his rat rod… I think I might have chocked on a mosquito. There was no playing it cool y’all… I was in heaven. I had to force myself to stop taking photos!!!
I loved how Roxy just wandered in and out of the frame… she’s a natural and the camera loves her.
Dancing barefoot at sunset is a must. Also melts my heart.
Anyone else have a rat rod they want to park in a meadow on a fall night? 😉 Hit me up!
