Newborns are the best and when you have a busy big brother, documentary lifestyle sessions are a must. I’ve said it before and I know I’ll say it again. Toddlers HATE posing for photos… they hate it. <mic drop>
But truly, it is so nice to meet little ones in their own spaces with their own toys and snacks. I arrived to meet this sweet new family and it didn’t take long for my man, Myles to warm up and show me his favorite things. He loves his trains, jumping around and playing chase. His blonde hair and blue eyes are killer, combined with his sly little smile and this guy is all charm! Myles, was a blast and he is full of energy and smiles. My sappy heart about burst out of my chest when he took a break playing trains and laid his head on his Momma’s knee.
Annnnnd, I will never, ever get sick staring at a newborn… ever. Teddy did not disappoint, he was such a sweet little one. And in true second child fashion he let his big brother steel the lime light, hung back
and silently took notes… errr soaked in the snuggles. He was magical.
After relaxing around the house we packed up and headed to A&W for some root beer floats. You can bet your tail I had one too. Sitting there with this new family of four was perfection.
Watching Nikki feed Teddy with Myles at her feet… gosh, I feel that moment in my bones. Helping an older sibling adjust to a new baby is nuts but also so darn amazing at the same time.
Oh Geez this is one of those moments where all parents of toddlers can relate. You got this Dad!! 😉
