Sam & Abbey are two very busy people so when you are busy but want a stunning wedding, who better to take over the charge than Mom? Abbey’s Mom Renee, planned and organized everything with such care. I loved the blue and gold color scheme and complete elegance and classic style from top to bottom. Abbey you were stunning… the blush highlights in your wedding dress were perfection. Renee, might have a new profession in wedding day coordination as everything flowed so effortlessly.
The entire day was filled with so much… so many smiles, embraces, tears of joy, nervous excitement… SO.MUCH.LAUGHTER. Oh and the music… the music for the day was unbelievable. The beautiful full Catholic Mass complete with one of the most stunning renditions of ‘Ave Maria’ brought me to tears. And to finish the night out, The Civil Engineers KILLED it, the dance floor was packed.
When I meet and chat with my couples I encourage them to focus on staying true to what they are most excited about when they think of their wedding day. Abbey & Sam wanted to prioritizing spending as much time possible with their friends and family. Naturally, I was happy to do my best to keep formal portrait time as fast as possible and focus my attention on documenting their wedding day in a candid way. We choose to skip multiple stops for photos and went straight to the cocktail hour… I’m so glad we did. Abbey & Sam seemed so happy to be on this amazing roof top with their most favorite people. I think I found a new wedding day tip for future couples. It was a perfect day.
Thank you Abbey & Sam. It was an honor to witness your beautiful union & I can honestly say I’m gonna miss planning with Renee.
